Ritual of Talisman Consecration

After you have made your talisman, it must be charged with positive energy. To do such, you will need the following items:

First mix the water and the salt, then light the candle and incense. Then, holding the talisman, say the following while passing the talisman through the incense, I smudge you with air.” The pass the talisman through the candle’s flame, saying; I kiss you with fire.” Then using your fingers, anoint the talisman with the salt water, saying; Water and earth to seal my desire.” Then place the talisman upon a windowsill for 24 hours.

 

Empowering a potion

You will need the following items:

Light the incense and hold the potion (bottled) over the smoke, saying the following; Bubble, bubble, toil and trouble. Strengthen this potion on the double. Empower this magick, send it fast, And harm none, make it last.”

 

Chant for Blessing a Book of Shadows

You will need the following for this:

Draw your circle, light the four candles and place them at their corner according to direction. Light your incense. Take a few drops of oil and spread it on the cover of the book, saying the following; In the realm of magick, this book shall reside. No one but the chosen shall see what’s inside. If breath be to Air (pass the book over the Yellow candle), as passion to Fire (pass book over Red candle), Let harm come to none. If life be to Earth (pass over Green candle), as Water to emotion (pass over Blue candle), This book be filled with magickal potions. May the God protect it, keep it from harm, And upon it bestow power, magick, and charm. No one without wisdom shall peer at its pages. Or knowledge inside handed down through the ages. This book be it mine, it harbors no fears. The knowledge obtained through blood, sweat, and tears, My magick’s my passion, the spirit’s my guide. The love for the Goddess I hold deep inside. This book may she bless with spiritual light. And let only her children read of its rite. For those of the Wicca truly can see, That this is my will, so mote it be.”
